No School on Three Furlough Days

All Pleasanton schools will be out of session three extra days this school year as a cost-cutting measure to help trim more than $8 million the school district must cut from the budget.

The teachers union agreed to three teacher furlough days this school year, meaning students will not attend classes on those days. The furlough days are:
  • Thursday, April 1
  • Friday, May 28
  • Tuesday, June 1
The furlough days were proposed by the teachers union and approved by the district's board of trustees.

District administration understands that these extra days off school may present a challenge to families. We thank you in advance for your support.
