Hart Aces Math Tests

Hart's outstanding scores on the American Mathematics Contest 8 has placed several students among the brightest math minds in the nation.
 
The AMC 8 is a 25-question, multiple choice exam designed to promote the development and enhancement of problem-solving skills. The test was given in November to students in 8th-grade honors math classes.

More than 150,000 students from more than 2,250 schools took part in the contest.
 
Nathan Zhang is ranked as being in the top 1 percent of students who participated, making him a National Recognition Award winner.

The AMC 8 is given by the Mathematical Association of America.
