DI Teams Head to State

Congratulations to Hart's four Destination Imagination teams that performed so well at a recent regional competition that they've qualified to compete at the state level.

Three teams made exclusively of Hart students -- The Layers of Zephyr, Team Panda Patrol and The Other Team -- will head to the state tournament in San Diego on March 23.

A fourth team with three Hart students, We are Too Lazy To, will also compete at state. That team also won the special Renaissance Award for the team's outstanding performance and extraordinary effort and preparation.

Hart has seven teams that competed at the regional competition at Foothill High School on Feb. 23. Hart's other teams are Like a Boss, Sheeps & Meese, Bunnistas and The Crafters.

Destination Imagination is an educational program in which student teams solve open-ended challenges and present their solutions at tournaments. Teams are tested to think on their feet, work together and devise original solutions that satisfy the challenge requirements. Participants gain more than just basic knowledge and skills; they learn to unleash their imaginations and take unique approaches to problem-solving.
