Living History Lesson

History came to life on the Hart campus recently when students reenacted crucial parts of the American Revolution with local historian Roy Wells.

Wells, a retired Air Force officer, makes history fun and exciting for students through his lively presentations that include thrilling stories and historically accurate props.

All 8th-grade students heard about the causes and battles of the Revolution and the lives of soldiers on both sides. They saw an actual block of tea and replica of the crates thrown overboard at Boston Harbor. Several students dressed up in uniforms and equipment from that era.

We thank Mr. Wells for volunteering to come to Hart and look forward to his Civil War presentation in April.
