Holiday Wishes

Dear Hart Families,

Here we are in the month of December! It seems as if we just got started with the school year. Time has really flown by for me in my fourth year as Hart’s principal. As a parent of three children, it’s amazing how time flies. I’m sure many of you feel the same way. We are one-third of the way through our school year.

As the holiday season approaches, I hope you share my goal of taking a breath, being appreciative and having some meaningful time with your family. In education, we have the pleasure to impact young lives. Our students are the reason we are here. Their learning and progress are our goals.

We have much to be thankful for at Hart. We first thank our parents. Not only do they raise enormous sums of money to support our educational programs, but they also help in so many ways on a daily basis. They help with after-school traffic supervision, volunteering in our main office and in classes and they serve on our PTSA and School Site Council. Thank you to our fabulous PTSA for all of their hard work and dedication to our students and school programs. At every level, when we need something, there are parents willing to step up and fill the need. I can’t tell you how much we appreciate all that you do. You are wonderful.

With the holiday season upon us, we enter this season of giving, think hard about your gifts to your children. The greatest gift -- the gift that keeps on giving -- is education. I thank you for your continued support of our students. I will close with a wish to you and your family for a very safe, peaceful, happy and healthful holiday season.

Our schools will be closed from Monday, December 23 to Friday, January 3. Classes will resume on Monday, January 6, 2014

Warm Regards,

Terry Conde
