Administrative Changes

Vice Principal Tom Domer is taking a new administrative position at a middle school in San Carlos. The new job offers a wonderful opportunity for Mr. Domer to continue his administrative career in a district that is much closer to home in San Francisco. His last day with us will be Friday September 26.

Mr. Domer has worked tirelessly to help support our students, staff and families of the Hart community.  He has made many long-lasting connections and has had a positive impact on so many of our lives. He contributed to the growth of so many of our children. His love and commitment to our students has been admirable.

When Mr. Domer informed me that he is leaving, he said, “This has not been an easy decision for me to make. I enjoy working with the entire Hart community, and I truly love our student body. Hart has provided me so many meaningful opportunities for growth during the last three years as vice principal and prior to that as a teacher. It is not an easy transition in becoming an administrator, and I express my appreciation for your patience and support while I learned my new position.”

San Carlos is lucky to gain an administrator with Mr. Domer's passion and dedication. We wish him all the best. He will be sorely missed. We have already begun the process to fill the void that his departure creates.

Every person at Hart is better because of Mr. Domer’s work, dedication and passion. I personally thank Mr. Domer again for his contributions to our site. If you get a moment before September 26, please stop by his office and join me in expressing our appreciation. It will be difficult to fill that void, but I am confident that our community will extend the same patience and courtesy to our next vice principal that you have shown to Mr. Domer.
