Hart will celebrate Diversity Day with a variety of events and an after-school International Fair on Friday, March 4.
Students will celebrate Diversity Day during the school day, which is a minimum day. The regular school day ends at 12:39 p.m. Foothill's Chinese yo-yo club members and Korean fan dancers are among the day's highlights. Please see file below for details about Diversity Day events.
The after-school International Fair will feature interactive exhibits, including henna and face painting, a photo booth and games. There will be featured science exhibits and a gallery of student art. Perhaps the most popular aspect of the International Fair are foods from around the world.
Students may buy a $6 wristband Thursday, Feb. 25 and Friday, Feb. 26 that allows students access to the International Fair. Wristbands are $8 at the event. Students with wristbands may sample the many foods at the fair. Larger portions will be sold for an additional fee of 50 cents to $2, so be sure to bring some pocket change.
All students who plan to attend the International Fair must turn in a signed permission form (see below). The fair ends at 2 p.m.
Cultural booths at the event include India, Canada, Ethiopia/Eritrea, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Russia, China, America, Philippines, Tentree, Greece, Iran, Afghanistan, Kenya, Vietnam, America and Taiwan.
