Welcome Back: News & Events

Dear Hart Community,
Welcome to another great school year.  We are excited to see our new
students and returning students.
School started very smoothly this year. It didn't take long for students to get back into the swing of things.  In our visits to the classrooms, we immediately noticed that students are engaged in learning and are actively participating.  This excitement and commitment comes directly from our community and extends to our students and to our staff.
School safety is our top priority.  This applies not only to the safety of our students, but also to staff, parents and siblings.  Parents, if you come on campus, please sign in at the office and get a name tag.  This helps us to account for all people on campus at Hart and helps keep our students safe.
Our Back-to-School Night will be Thursday, September 18 at 7 p.m.  Teachers will talk about their academic programs and the expectations that they have for your students this year.  This is a great opportunity to visit your child’s classes and find out what’s happening.
Thank you to the community for being supportive of our efforts to ensure a
smooth start this year.  We particularly want to thank our Parent Faculty Association volunteers for their assistance with our walk-thru registration and for providing a wonderful lunch on our teacher work day.
We appreciate the effort all parents have demonstrated by following school parking instructions for student drop-off and pick-up.  This allows Hart to maintain a safe zone for our students who are waiting for a ride home.  Please be reminded not to park in the bus zone or in neighboring business parking lots.
Again, thank you in advance for what we know will be a fun, safe and educational year. We look forward to working with your children, and we welcome your help, questions and participation.  We are certain that we will have an exceptional year here at Hart, where our kids come first. See you at school!
