Hart Gets Fenced In

Special thanks to Hart dad Mitch Kaelin and DPR Construction of Redwood City for donating the manpower and machinery to install a fancy new fence around Hart's outdoor garden.

The beautiful white fence keeps the squash, tomatoes, sunflowers, corn and other plants safe from students so eager to get to class on time that they might cut through the garden and trample innocent plants. The garden is maintained by Hart's Eco Club.

Principal Steve Maher was recruiting parent volunteers to install the fence when Mr. Kaelin stepped forward to volunteer his services and the aid of his company. Mr. Kaelin and DPR also developed and installed the long-jump pit built on the south side of the track in June 2007.

Thank you to Mr. Kaelin and DPR Construction for their support of our school!
