Girls Volleyball

Sign ups will start this Tuesday, February 12. Tryouts are on March 4 and 5 in the Gym after school. As always students must have a sports packet on file to participate. Register on the sports desk in the front office.

This informational class is designed to provide an overview of the most current educational information on alcoholism, addiction and other substance use disorders. It will focus on guidance, support and treatment options. Class is on February at 26 - 8:30 pm Village HS MPR. No cost.

New Volunteer Managing System Announced

The Pleasanton Unified School District is pleased to announce that we will begin using the Raptor Visitor and Volunteer Management System in all of our schools to strengthen campus safety. Part of keeping our students and staff safe is knowing who is in our school buildings at all times and in the unlikely case of an emergency. We are excited to have the Raptor system assist us in this regard.

Talent Show Audition Sign Up is Open

This year's Talent show will be on Diversity Day, March 27. The focus for the talent show is for students to represent their cultures as well as their talents. Hart encourages everyone interested in participating, to audition.

GATE Testing

Schools in Pleasanton are preparing for the annual Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) testing period.
The purpose of GATE testing is to identify and motivate highly able students to realize their full potential. The District works with school staff to provide high quality differentiated opportunities for learning that meet students’ particular abilities and talents and to focus on the areas of need.
Students from grade 3 to 7 in Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD) are offered the opportunity to be tested at least once for GATE identification. Students may be tested several times, as often as every other year.
