PRIDE Artwork Contest

The annual contest to design next year's cover of Hart's homework organizer is open to participants now! This art contest is open to all Hart students, and submissions can be hand drawn or computer generated artwork. Contest rules and entry info can be found by clicking on the headline.
Artwork is due on Friday, April 12. Winners being announced on April 22.

Free Educational Events

Axis Community Health is providing FREE educational events in your community. We heard what your community is eager to learn about and we are very excited to announce them to you. Graham Wiseman’s presentation on Raising Emotionally Healthy Kids delves into the struggles of depression, stress and social media. The documentary Screenagers helps audiences understand the influence of smart phones and risk of addiction among today’s youth.

Girls Volleyball

New Volunteer Managing System Announced

The Pleasanton Unified School District is pleased to announce that we will begin using the Raptor Visitor and Volunteer Management System in all of our schools to strengthen campus safety. Part of keeping our students and staff safe is knowing who is in our school buildings at all times and in the unlikely case of an emergency. We are excited to have the Raptor system assist us in this regard.

GATE Testing

Schools in Pleasanton are preparing for the annual Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) testing period.
The purpose of GATE testing is to identify and motivate highly able students to realize their full potential. The District works with school staff to provide high quality differentiated opportunities for learning that meet students’ particular abilities and talents and to focus on the areas of need.
Students from grade 3 to 7 in Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD) are offered the opportunity to be tested at least once for GATE identification. Students may be tested several times, as often as every other year.
