Welcome to the Hart Choral Program!
Video of Los Angeles Forum Festival at Fullerton College, April 25, 2019 at the bottom of this page. Thanks to Mr. Kenny for taking the video!
See the tab to the side for complete info on Great America, which will be May 11 (Sat).
Students of the Hart Middle School choral program have the chance to participate in a high-quality, collaborative, and inclusive music-making experience with students of all ability levels. Singers will learn a diverse array of repertoire from different cultures and time periods, perform throughout the year, build musicianship skills, and work individually and in groups on assignments in composition, research, and music analysis, creating a well-rounded music education for every student.
The program currently consists of three ensembles that meet during the school day:
Concert Choir (6th graders)
Hart Attack (7th Grade sopranos and altos)
Hartbeat Singers (7th and 8th grade, mixed)
This is an ever-expanding program that welcomes new singers at the beginning of each year. If you have questions or would like to know more about the program, please do not hesitate to contact director Sarah McClimon smcclimon@pleasantonusd.net
7th and 8th Grade students have the opportunity to travel to Los Angeles (Disneyland, Festival performance and "Fiddler on the Roof" at Pantages Theater, Hollywood), April 25-27, 2018.
All Choir students have an opportunity to attend Music in the Parks Festival at Milpitas High School and a day at Great America on May 11 (Sat).
Travel is optional, but a lot of fun! Scholarships are available.
See calendar for additional performances.
