Husky Enrichment Fund
Husky Enrichment Fund
Education is expensive and budgets are tight. That's why Hart parents are asked each year to pitch in what they can afford to supplement the school's budget so that we can continue to offer the programs and supplies that are critical to maintaining Hart's stellar educational program.
The Husky Enrichment Fund is the school's major fundraiser that helps raise money to fill in the financial gaps at Hart. All of the money raised -- 100 percent -- stays at Hart for programs and supplies. All money donated is tax deductible, so it's a great way to support the school while getting a strong tax write-off.
You will be able to make your fully tax-deductible Husky Enrichment Fund donation at walk-thru registration.
The Husky Enrichment Fund an easy way for people to support the school. Families may support the fun at the $75, $180 or $360 level -- or at whatever level you choose. We are grateful to get whatever your family can afford to donate. If every family pitches in, we will have plenty to maintain the high-quality programs families have come to expect at Hart.
Funds raised by the Husky Enrichment Fund go directly to programs and supplies requested by Hart's teachers and administration. The campaign funds technology upgrades, classroom equipment, accelerated math, lunchtime activities and much more. Funds are also used to subsidize salaries for the library, counseling and technology support staff.
Thank you for supporting Hart's Husky Enrichment Fund
Other School Fundraisers
The Husky Enrichment Fund is Hart's major fundraiser for the school year, but there are a few other fun fundraisers scattered throughout the year.
- E-Waste Recycling -- This PTSA-hosted fundraiser is a great way to drop off unwanted electronic waste for recycling. Hart gets a cut of the minimal fee you'll pay to safely recycle your unwanted e-waste. Watch the newsletter for e-cycling dates.
- Student Council Magazine Drive -- This annual magazine drive is offered each fall, shortly after the start of the school year. It is the major fundraiser for the student council. It is not a PTSA fundraiser. Money raised helps pay for assemblies, sports, end-of-year events, the international fair and much more.
Hart's Husky Enrichment Fund is managed by the Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA). The PTSA is comprised of parents working together to make Hart the best learning environment for our kids. Anyone can join. If you can make it to some PTSA meetings during the year, that's great. We hope you can also volunteer your time at school events, such as walk-thru registration or school dances. We have plenty of volunteer opportunities throughout the school year. (See volunteer form below for more info.)
